Sponsor Shalom Training for One Community$1,500.00
Center for Transforming Communities seeks to equip three congregation/neighborhood collaborations each year.  Three communities participate in the facilitation at one time, learning with each other and from each other.  Your gift of $1,500 will be placed in the Shalom Training Fund to help sponsor the participation of one community to participate in the year-long training (8-12 months).
Shalom Team Resources and Technical Support$500.00
Graduating from Communities of Shalom training and being commissioned as a Shalom Zone is only the beginning.  Center for Transforming Communities is committed to staying in relationship with each Shalom Zone.  CTC provides one-on-one assistance and also seeks to identify opportunities to secure, connect and leverage resources across the Shalom Zones.  We offer bookkeeping and administrative support; we communicate about grant funding opportunities; and we promote the Shalom Zones attracting volunteers and financial resources directly into their programs.  And, we facilitate a community of learners who share their wisdom and lessons learned across the network of eight Shalom Zones.  Your gift of $500.00 will go directly to the on-going support of the Midsouth Shalom Communities.
Sponsor Shalom Training for One Individual$250.00
People participate in the Communities of Shalom training in teams that range from 8-20 people.  Most teams average about 12 individuals from churches, neighborhood associations and other stakeholders.  Although people don’t sign up as a single individual to participate, your gift of $250 (about the cost for one person to participate) will be placed in the Shalom Training Fund.
Discovering what we care about (general support)$100.00
CTC's mission is to transform neighborhoods with congregations as the catalyst. According to author Margaret Wheatley, there is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about. Center for Transforming Communities creates space for discovery, for collaboration, for relationship, and for new possibilities that foster healthy and resilient communities. Your gift of $100 supports this work.
Toilet Paper (general support)$50.00
Over 200 people pass through The Commons on Merton most days.  The people represented are:
Refugees from their homeland (children and adults representing 20 countries).
Men and women who live on the streets without homes
Children and spouses whose family member is incarcerated
Individuals worshipping, praying, and seeking to grow in faith through a supportive community
Individuals seeking recovery from drug and alcohol addition

All of these groups share space at The Commons.  Your contribution of $50 (cost of a month's supply of toilet paper) will go to supporting and maintaining the building.

Flip Chart Paper (general support)$25.00
It may seem odd to contribute the cost of flip chart paper but it is one of the important tools of CTC’s work.  CTC believes that our best solutions for community health and resiliency reside in our collective intelligence.  And so, we facilitate focused conversations to constantly reflect on what we are learning together and prepare us to set out in action again.  Together (and with flip chart paper), we make visible the roadmap of change and transformation.
In order for Center for Transforming Communities to
facilitate, inspire, nurture and sustain
communities to discover and work for what they truly care about depends on private donations.
With your generosity in its many forms, CTC continues to be a catalyst for deep, transforming, faith-inspired community change.
